A former Chairman of the Code of Conduct Tribunal, Danladi Umar has been granted a 100 million Naira bail and one surety in like sum by a Federal Capital Territory High Court sitting in Maitama.
Justice Peter Kekemeke in a brief ruling also ordered that the surety should have a certificate of occupancy.
Umar was arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes on a 4 count charge of conferring undue advantage on himself while serving as the chairman of the CCT.
He however pleaded not guilty to the charges.
