Former Plateau state governor, Joshua Dariye returned to the state after his release from prison.
Dariye , who was granted presidential pardon along with former governor of Taraba state Jolly Nyame and some others arrived at the Yakubu Gowon Airport Jos, to a large welcoming crowd.
The former governor in his first interview since his release , said he is very happy to be free.

From the airport he visits Plateau governor, Simon Lalong, religious and traditional leaders to thank them for the roles they played leading to his pardon.
While addressing his supporters after the visits , he charged them to brace up for the 2023 elections .
Political watchers say the release of Dariye, also known as the Head boy within Plateau state political circles, will affect the political calculations , as politicians have commenced alignments ahead of the forthcoming electioo.
