Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State, joined hundreds of Muslims at the Yola Town Eid Ground, to observe the two raka’at prayers, in commemoration of the 2021 Eid-El-Kabir Sallah celebration.
The sermon by the Chief Imam of Modibbo Adamawa Central Mosque, Khadi Ahmadu Bobboi, dwelt on the significance of the Eid-El-Kabir to Muslims.
He also stressed the importance of sacrificing healthy animals.
After the eid prayers, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and Governor Ahmadu Fintiri in an interview urged Muslims to celebrate the day by promoting peace and unity, and follow the exemplary virtues of Prophet Muhammad.

Atiku Abubakar also called on Nigerians to participate in the ongoing continuous voter registration by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.
