Four persons have been killed during Monday’s clash involving some suspected cult groups in Owo town, in Owo Local Government Area of Ondo State.
Confirming the incident,spokesperson of the Ondo state police command,Funmilayo Odunlami-Omisanya said effort to arrest perpetrators of the act is currently underway.
Omisanya said Normalcy has however returned through the intervention of the Police.
Eyewitnesses say the violence could be linked to a feud that dates back to over a decade, during which several residents lost their lives in gang clashes.
Among the four persons killed was a former youth leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Owo Local Government,Fisayo oladipo.
