Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has condoled with former Governor of the State and Vice Presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, Rotimi Amaechi, over the death of his mother, Dame Ezinne Mary Oduah Amaechi.
In a condolence message issued on behalf of the government and people of Rivers State, Governor Fubara described the passing of Dame Amaechi as a painful and irreparable loss, not only to the Amaechi family but also to the Catholic community, the people of Ubima, and Rivers State as a whole.
The Governor noted that the death of a mother is one of life’s most difficult experiences and urged the bereaved family to find comfort in the exemplary life she lived and the enduring legacy she left behind.

Governor Fubara also acknowledged the late matriarch’s significant role in shaping the values and character of her family and making a positive impact on her community.
He prayed to God Almighty to grant the Amaechi family the strength to bear the loss and to grant the soul of Dame Amaechi eternal rest.
