There appears to be fuel scarcity in Abuja, as long queues are back at fuel stations within the metropolis. Some motorists who spoke to AIT say they are afraid the yuletide may be marred by fuel scarcity.
The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, in a press release on Tuesday urges the general public not to engage in panic buying, as it has sufficient stock of products that will last all through the festive period and beyond.

The NNPC says it is also engaging all stakeholders to ensure smooth supply and distribution of products to every part of the country.
