Kano State Governor Abdullahi Ganduje has approved the sacking of Engineer Mu’azu Magaji as the Executive Chairman of the state’s NNPC/AKK Gas Pipeline Project and Gas Industrialisation Committee, (KNSG-PDIC), with immediate effect.
This was contained in a statement issued by the Commissioner for Information, Muhammad Garba.

The statement said the sacked chairman has failed to live above board in carrying out the responsibility assigned to him to oversee the project which the government attaches great premium.
The sacked chairman was directed to hand over the affairs of the committee to the Deputy Executive Chairman, Aminu Babba Dan‘Agundi.
This is not the first time that Engineer Muazu Magaji will be sacked by the state government
In April 2020, Governor Ganduje sacked Magaji as Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure for celebrating the death of the Chief Of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari, on social media.
He was later reappointed to serve as Chairman of the AKK Committee Project last year.
