Nasarawa state and the federal Governments have signed a memorandum of understanding on plans to address Short and long term gas supply solutions and create a multi party joint working team to support the industrialisation of Nasarawa state.
The group managing director of NNPC , Mele Kyari made this known during a gas business roundtable held in Lafia, the Nasarawa state capital
Kyari says Nasarawa State is in a vantage position to benefit from the pipeline project.

Nasarawa state Governor Abdullahi Sule agreed with the NNPC helmsman and said moves are ongoing to ensure the state makes the most of its vantage position.
Governor Sule noted that the state is delighted with the development and said his administration will ensure that the pipeline ends up creating a win-win situation for all parties to the project.
