The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corp, NSCDC, in Gombe has deployed over six hundred personnel in all parts of the state.
In a press statement signed by DSC Buhari Saad the, NSCDC Commandant Waziri Babagoni Goni deployed the personnel to provide security and protect critical National assets in the State in order to checkmate the activities of bad elements that may want to take advantage of the festive season .
The statement noted that the directive was part of measures introduced by the Commandant General Abubakar Ahmed which would cut across Mosques, Recreation Centres, Motor Parks, Markets, Black Spots, Flash Points among others.

The commandant of the corps in Gombe called on the officers deployed to be professional in discharging their duties and respect human rights.
