Gombe State Governor Inuwa Yahaya has called on newly sworn in acting chief justice of Gombe state to be above board in discharging his duties as the chief custodian of the third arm of the state government.
The state governor disclosed this while swearing in the third acting chief judge of the state, Justice Joseph Awak, and some special advisers where he assures of the independence of the judiciary in the state.

For the state government it was a time to highlight the harmonious relationship between the three arms of government in the state.
This is the third chief judge of the state in the administration since the retirement of the previous acting chief judge Justice Adamu Pindiga.
In another development Governor Inuwa Yahaya also swore in some special advisers.
