The Gombe state government is set to transform the Tsangaya school system to meet the needs of the 21st century.
The State governor Inuwa Yahaya says the transformation is needed to enable curriculum used in teaching out of school children meet world standard.

Yahaya disclosed at a stakeholders meeting for the Better Education Service Delivery for All held in Gombe.

National coordinator for Besda and the representative from the ministry of education expressed delight with the development of educational centers in Gombe
For the state coordinator the program would be expanded through the training of teachers for the challenges of educating out of school children.
Earlier the state governor laid the foundation of the ultramodern Almajiri integrated Quranic educational center in Gombe.
