Over one million seven hundred thousand exercise and text books for various subjects, as well as other educational resource materials, have been distributed free to primary and secondary schools across the forty-four local government areas of Kano State.
Implemented under the free education policy of the Abba Yusuf-led administration, the governor said the aim is to encourage more enrolment of students and unhindered access to quality education for all.
