Kano State Governor, Abba Yusuf, says any northerner working against the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027 is an enemy of progress working against the development of the region.
Governor Yusuf who said this at the affirmation of aspirants who secured the consensus tickets of the All-Progressive Congress in Bichi Local Government Area of the state, noted that the North has continued to benefit from massive infrastructural development under the Tinubu administration and called for total support for the president’s second-term bid.
Addressing the crowd, Governor Abba Yusuf described opposition to President Tinubu’s re-election as politically unwise, insisting the administration has delivered visible infrastructure projects across Northern Nigeria.
Chairman of the House Committee on Appropriations, Abubakar Kabir Bichi, whose affirmation was openly validated at the gathering, assured constituents that he would continue to attract impactful projects and opportunities to Bichi Federal Constituency.
He also highlighted key projects being executed by the Tinubu administration, which will be beneficial to Kano and the North.
Governor Abba Yusuf and Abubakar Bichi urged supporters to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards and mobilize eligible youths, especially those who recently turned eighteen, to register ahead of the 2027 elections.
