Gov. Abdullahi Sule Asks Illegal Miners To Leave Nasarawa State

Illegal miners of solid minerals in Nasarawa State have been warned to steer clear of the State or face the wrath of the law.

The State Governor Abdullahi Sule gave the warning when he declared open the 2021 Stakeholders Mineral Workshop in the Mining Sector in Lafia, the State Capital.

Sule said his administration has its eyes on the minerals sector and will continue to address emerging challenges associated with mining especially with regards to laws regulating the industry

He warned illegal miners and those encouraging the act for personal benefits to desist from such act which is depriving millions of the benefit from the God given resources.

He applauded investors who are carrying out their mining activities in line with the Federal and State governments extant laws; assuring them of his commitment to continually evolve better working environment.
