Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke has disclosed his administration’s plans to go ahead with reforms to grow the mining sector in the state.
Governor Adeleke who made this known while meeting with the State’s Council of Traditional rulers on Thursday, noted that his administration is already working on policies to improve Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) without imposing excessive tax burden on residents.
The Governor further explained that all Federal interventions executed under his watch have been judiciously administered, assuring the traditional rulers that plans are underway to construct a befitting chamber for them in the state.
The Ooni of Ife who responded on behalf of other traditional rulers while appealing for calm, expressed optimism that the current administration of President Bola Tinubu will get things right to alleviate the sufferings of the masses.
