Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke has said that the location of an airport in the State will fast-track economic growth in the South West Nigerian state.
The Governor who gave the reason on Thursday while receiving the Ministerial Technical Team for Osun Airport site inspection, said he remains committed to the dream that will bring about an airport for the good people of Osun State.
The Governor further disclosed that the State’s Standing Committee on the Airport project will provide all necessary details to the Federal Ministry of Aviation to enable the team have a seamless inspection process.
Governor Adeleke also called on the Minister of Aviation to support the move for an Airport to be constructed in Osun State.
In his response, the leader of the Ministerial Technical Team for Osun Airport site inspection, Engr. Akinola Bello said the agenda of the team is to deploy the best strategies needed to reap the benefits inherent in the emerging aviation hub.
