Ahead of Wednesday’s unveiling of Kashim Shettima as the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, Vice Presidential candidate, Katsina State Governor Aminu Masari has broken his silence on the political development by declaring his support for the Tinubu -Shettima ticket.
Masari made his feelings known on the sidelines of a function in Katsina was reacting to recent developments in the party where his kinsman Kabir Masari withdrew from the race and was subsequently replaced by the former Borno State Governor.

He said politics is about good and fair leadership not religion saying, he is not against the Muslim-Muslim ticket, stressing that what the nation needs at the moment is good leadership, irrespective of religion, tribal or geo-political affiliations.
Masari said as a former governor and senator, Kashim Shettima has all the qualities to be the vice-president
