Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has reminded families of Nigerian fallen heroes that their selflessness, courage and commitment to indivisible Nigeria will never be in vain.
The Governor made the remark at the 2025 Armed Forces Remembrance Day Celebration Grand Finale held at the Cenotaph Ground Asaba.
Speaker of Delta state House of Assembly Emomotimi Guwor said the proper way to honour the memory of the nation’s fallen soldiers was by working towards what they fought for while alive.
The Governor inspected the Guard of Honour mounted by Security operatives in the company of his Deputy, the Speaker of the state House of Assembly, Chief Judge and other Service Commanders including representatives of wives of fallen heroes .
