Katsina State Governor, Dikko Radda, has appointed Ahmed Ɗangiwa as Secretary to the State Government, SSG, barely a few hours after his inauguration as the fifth democratically elected Governor of Katsina State.
This is contained in a statement the governor personally signed.
Until his appointment, Ɗangiwa was the Director-General of Katsina State APC Campaign Council.
According to the statement, Jabiru Tsauri has, also, been appointed as the Chief of Staff, Barrister Mukhtar Saulawa is the Deputy Chief of Staff, and Abdullahi Turaji is named Principal Private Secretary, PPS, to the Governor.
Other appointments approved by Governor Radda are: Maiwada Dammallam, Director-General, Media; Ibrahim Mohammed, Chief Press Secretary; Miqdad Isah as Senior Special Assistant (Digital Media); and Badaru Jikamshi becomes the Senior Special Assistant (Print and Electronic Media).

Radda also appointed Bishir Maikano as the Senior Special Assistant, SSA, (Protocol), Deputy Governor’s Office while Hassan Danhaire, as Senior Special Assistant, SSA, (Special Duties), Deputy Governor’s Office, and Ahmed Rabiu as Official Photographer to the Governor.
The Governor congratulated the new appointees and urged them to join hands with him in turning around the fortunes of the State.
