The Governor, of Lagos State Babajide Sanwo-Olu , alongside his cabinet members have expressed support for the incumbent Deputy Governor, Obafemi Hamzat to vie for Governorship position under the banner of the All Progressives Congress APC,in the 2027 election.
Governor Sanwo-Olu stated this at Lagos House, Marina, when the Deputy Governor led a delegation of leaders of the Party, including members of the Governor’s Advisory Council, GAC, former Minister, Lawmakers, among others, to officially intimate him of his intention to contest for the number one position of the State.
The Governor described his Deputy as someone with highest sense of integrity, loyalty, support, prepared for the job.
Governor Sanwo-Olu thanked President Bola Tinubu for his long term vision, for him and his Deputy in ensuring the growth of the State.
