Kano State Governor, Abba Yusuf has expressed his displeasure over the release of some political thugs who were detained for various criminal activities in the state. He accuses some political figures in the state of facilitating their bail from custody.
The Governor who said this when the Emir of Kano, Aminu Bayero paid him sallah homage at Government House, described it as an act of sabotage against the state and vowed to deploy necessary mechanisms to recapture those fueling political thuggery in Kano State.
The “Hauwa Nasarawa” which is the traditional sallah homage in Kano State usually paid to the Governor by the Emir and Emirate Council usually comes a day after the Governor must have paid homage to the Emir in his palace.
