Benue State Governor, Hyacinth Alia, has sent a message of felicitation to the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Kashim Shettima, as he marks his 60th birthday.
Governor Alia, in the message, described the occasion as “an opportunity to celebrate a Nigerian who has devoted significant years of his life to public service and the advancement of the nation.”
He commended Vice President Shettima for the “experience, dedication and sense of responsibility you have brought to the discharge of your duties.”
The Governor acknowledged the Vice President’s important “role in supporting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in advancing the Renewed Hope Agenda of the Federal Government.”
He noted that the partnership between the President and his deputy remains crucial to the effective implementation of policies designed to address the needs and aspirations of Nigerians.
According to Governor Alia, Vice President Shettima’s public service record, including his tenure as Governor of Borno State and his present responsibility as Vice President, reflects a career shaped by leadership and a commitment to the Nigerian people.
Alia also recognised the Vice President’s efforts towards fostering understanding, cooperation and national cohesion at a time when the country requires greater unity and a shared commitment to its progress.
The Governor, on behalf of the government and people of Benue State, wished the Vice President a memorable 60th birthday and continued success in his service to Nigeria and humanity.
“As you celebrate this significant milestone, I pray that Almighty God will continue to guide you, strengthen you and grant you wisdom as you serve the nation. I also pray for sound health, fulfilment and many more years of impactful service,” the latter concluded.
