The Benue State Governor Hyacinth Alia,has heartily congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for emerging as the standard bearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the 2027 general elections.
A statement by his Chief Press Secretary Tersoo Kula says the victory is well-deserved.
He equally extended warm congratulations to all those who emerged victorious as APC candidates and standard bearers across the country at the various stages of the primary elections conducted by the party.
He stated that their emergence is a reflection of the confidence reposed in them by party faithful and stakeholders.
Governor Alia particularly appreciated the National Working Committee of the APC led by Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda for providing the needed purposeful leadership, ensuring a peaceful atmosphere, and organizing transparent and successful primaries across the federation.
He emphasized that the smooth conduct of the exercise clearly demonstrates the growing strength, internal democracy, and unity within the APC family.
He expressed confidence that the APC will continue to wax stronger and remain committed to delivering purposeful leadership, good governance, and sustainable development to Nigerians.
He wishes all the party’s candidates success as they prepare for the 2027 General Elections.
