The Cross River State Governor, Professor Ben Ayade, has assured the Igbos living in the state of his government’s commitment for safe and secure business enviroment.
Ayade stated this when he received the leadership of the Ohaneze Ndigbo, who paid him a solidarity visit following his recent change of political party from the People’s Democratic Party PDP, to the All Progressives Congress APC.

The Governor who said the relationship between his government and the Igbos remained cordial, assured that Cross River remained the safest state in the country where investments thrive.
He called on the Igbo Community in Cross River State, to see the state as their home, stating that the Igbo “Commerce City” in Calabar will soon be a reality.
Speaking earlier, the President of Ohaneze Ndigbo in Cross River State, Ugorji Nwabueze, said that the visit was to assure the governor of their support ,saying that their over eight hundred thousand population and forty five billion Naira investments in Cross River State, have continued to thrive under Ayade’s Government.
