Members of the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, in Adamawa State have joined their counterparts nationwide to observe the 2022 Workers’ Day.
The event which was observed in grand style was attended by the Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri who pledged better treatment to the workers.
Governor Ahmadu Fintiri who was a Special Guest Of Honour at the occasion congratulated the workers for witnessing another May day where they met to take inventory of their services so far and create a renewed vigour for better service delivery.

The State Chairman of the Nigeria Labour Congress, Emmanuel Fashe commended the governor for being worker-friendly.
He used the forum to request the intervention of the state in areas of payment of leave grants, prompt promotion of workers and the improvement of the working conditions of workers, among others.
Highpoints of the event were the march past and cultural displays, among others.
