Gombe State Governor, Inuwa Yahaya, has expressed satisfaction with the state of rehabilitation on the roads affected by gully erosion in the state.
The rehabilitation is part of a partnership between the state and Federal Government and the World Bank to tackle the growing number of gully erosion affecting the metropolis.
Monitoring the state of roads, affected by gully erosion in the suburbs of the state capital, Governor Yahaya said the impact of the erosion which has changed the topography of the areas has made life difficult for the people hence the rehabilitation work.

The state-owned university is also getting a facelift in the areas affected by the erosion.

Meanwhile, the residents of Malam Inna and Wuro Juli were excited about the visit of the Governor to the area where a hospital and skill acquisition center project is under construction through the sustainable development goals partnership.
