Political Crisis is brewing in Kogi State following the suspension of the Chairman of Ibaji Local Government Council Emmanuel Onuche by the state House of Assembly.
The Concerned Ibaji Elites have kicked against the action of the State Assembly by calling on the state Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo to stop the action as it was ill conceived.
MacPherson Ojodale who signed a statement on behalf of the Concerned Ibeji Elites said the Kogi Assembly have used their office arbitrarily without considering the implications of their action.
The group noted that it was sad that the State House of Assembly allowed itself to be used in executing a selfish desire that would certainly boomerang if allowed to be sustained.
The Concerned Group called for a speedy intervention of Gov. Usman Ahmed Ododo and his Deputy, the Leader of Kogi East APC, pointing out that the injustice ahead of the 2027 Election is unnecessary and uncalled for.
