The Nigerian Army Guards Brigade says there will be firing of artillery guns as part of activities commemorating the 2-day working visit of the South African President, Cyril Ramaphosa to Nigeria from November 30 to December 1, 2021.
A statement by the Assistant Director of Army Public Relations, Captain Anebi Abakpa says part of the activity to honour the visiting President would be the provision of Guard of Honor at the Presidential Villa and the firing of twenty-one-gun salute during the occasion.

He called on the general public especially those living within Asokoro and its environs not to panic at the sound of the simulated firing of Artillery Guns during the Guard of Honor parade.
