Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Bokkos Local Government Area of Plateau State, North-Central Nigeria, Jerry Fwankis, has been abducted by gunmen.
This incident occurred at about 9pm on Sunday at his residence in Tangur, Bokkos Local Government Area of the state.
PDP State Publicity Secretary, John Akans who confirmed the incident to AIT.live said the abductors invaded the house of the party chairman while he was watching television and threatened to shoot anyone who raised alarm before taken him away.

Efforts to speak to the spokesperson for the Plateau State Police Command on the incident were unsuccessful as at the time of filing in this report.
