Gunmen have abducted, the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Transport, Dr Garba Musa, from his house in Zungeru, Wushishi Local Government Area of Niger State.
Dr Garba Musa was said to have been to his home town to attend a wedding.
The gunmen reportedly forced their way into his house as he was relaxing.

The Secretary to Niger State Government, Ahmad Matane, said he was yet to confirm the development.
He told journalists that the state government will take measures to ensure that the abducted Permanent Secretary is rescued.
