Gunmen, suspected to be kidnappers have reportedly abducted the twin daughters of a third class traditional ruler in Obbo-Aiyegunle Community, Ekiti local government area of Kwara state, including three other aides of the monarch.
The twin daughters of the monarch, Oba Samuel Adelodun who are six years old school children of Landmark University staff school, Omu- Aran, were reportedly abducted last night on their way between Osi and Obbo-Aiyegunle, while the vehicle conveying them were abandoned on the road.

The daughters of the traditional ruler and others were abducted alongside driver of the monarch, his security official, and his maid.
Meanwhile, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the state Police command, Okasanmi Ajayi, who confirmed the incident, said that the victims were abducted along Osi-Obbo Ayegunle road while taking the children home from school.
Ajayi added that on receipt of the information, the Commissioner of Police has dispatched the Anti Kidnapping and other Tactical Units of the Command alongside local hunters and vigilantes to immediately commence a search and rescue operation in the area for possible arrest of the abductors and safe rescue of the victims.
While assuring the people of Kwara State of their safety and security at all times, the Commissioner of Police however advised members of the public to be conscious of happenings around them, avoid movements in isolated and lonely routes at odd hours.
