Another Police Station in Enugu State, South East Nigeria has been invaded by gunmen, killing four operatives and setting the facility ablaze.
The Iwollo Police Division in Ezeagu Local Government Area was reportedly attacked by the heavily armed men at about 4 o’clock Tuesday morning in what the locals described as a “commando” style leaving the policemen on night duty to little or no chances.
But, the Enugu State Police Command boss, Mohammed Aliyu has visited the scene of the attack, praising his men for gallantly resisting the attackers.

A statement by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, Daniel Ndukwe, an Assistant Superintendent of Police observed that although the Police lost four of her men in the shoot out, the suspected attackers escaped with bullet injuries.
Meanwhile Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi along with other government functionaries have visited the scene of the incident.
No arrest has been made so far.
