The Police have confirmed coordinated gun attack on the convoy of senator representing Anambra South, Ifeanyi Ubah at Enugu-Ukwu in Njikoka LGA of Anambra State, South-East Nigeria, on Sunday at about 5pm.

State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Ikenga Tochukwu told AIT.live in a telephone conversation that the details of the incident are still sketchy but operatives of the Force are on ground to ensure normalcy returns to the area.

Videos obtained by AIT.live indicate that though Senator Ubah managed to escape, his bullet proof car was riddled with bullets as members of his convoy were not fortunate.
