About 554 pilgrims from Katsina State who left the Umaru Musa Yar’adua International Airport on June 24 to King Abdulazeez International airport Jeddah have arrived safely.
Speaking before their departure, the Amirul Hajj and the Leader of the Katsina State delegation, Justice Musa Danladi, congratulated them for being the guest of Allah.
In a statement by the Public Relations Officer of the Pilgrim’s Welfare Board, Badaru Karofi, Justice Danladi charged them to be good ambassadors of the nation and state in general and called on them to pray for the country and their leaders.
On his part, the Executive Director of the board, Suleiman Kuki, expressed delight in the way the pilgrims had conducted themselves at the camp.

Max Airlines representatives commended the Executive Director and the Amirul Hajj for their dedication during the flight operation.
Some of the pilgrims who spoke to journalists before their departure to the Holy land thanked the state government and the board for the way they were treated.
Katsina has a total of 2,146 pilgrims for the year 2022 Hajj pilgrimage.
