On July 18 2022, the Inspector-General of Police, Usman Baba ordered the Commissioner of Police in Lagos State to investigate the indicting statement made in a viral video by Portable claiming to have founded the cult group, One Million Boys that has been terrorising residents of the commercial city and its environs. Portable has however denied the allegation in a counter video.

Prior to that in June, the Ogun State Police Command gave Portable 48 hours ultimatum to surrender himself to the nearest police station in the state for questioning following the maltreatment of his supposed former Disc Jockey, DJ Chicken who was beaten by the singer and his associates; an act the police described as barbaric.
