Health workers reject redundancy claim by ICPC Chairman

There is an uneasy calm among health workers over comments by the Chairman of independent corrupt practices and other related matters, ICPC, Bolaji Oransonye that investigation show that apart from medical doctors, other health professionals are mostly redundant in the hospitals.

Acting Secretary General of the Medical and Health Workers Union of Nigeria, Yusuf Kiyawa says the information is misleading and unacceptable.

Kiyawa insists that Nigeria’s health system is already under-staffed due to uncontrollable brain drain of health workers.
