A former member representing Vandeikya/Konshisha Federal Constituency of Benue State Herman Hembe has emerged as the Governorship Standard bearer for the African Democratic Congress ADC in Benue State.
Hembe polled 46,526 votes to defeat his closest rival, Peter Adejoh, who secured 31,990 votes in the just-concluded ADC Governorship Primaries in the State.
Joseph Waya scored 26,916 votes to come third place.
Accepting the nomination, the standard bearer of the party appreciated the sacrifice of party members and extended an olive branch to other aspirants and party supporters urging them to unite and support the party to succeed.
Herman defeated his closest opponent Peter Adejoh by over 14,000 votes to emerge winner.
