The trial of Nigerian Instagram celebrity Ramon Abbas, popularly known as Hushpuppi is set to begin in the United States of America on October 13th 2020.
He pleaded not guilty to the four-count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud, money laundering conspiracies, international money laundering and engaging in monetary transactions in property derived from specified unlawful activity.
Hushpuppi was arrested in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates in June by special operatives of the Emerate police and American Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

He was extradited to Chicago, United States of America in July alongside Olalekan Ponle popularly known as Woodberry where he was first arraigned but was transferred to Los Angeles in California because the US court in Illinois does not have jurisdiction over the case.
Hushpuppi and his counsel, Mrs Podberesky are to appear before District Judge Otis Wright on October 13th.
The one time Instagram sensation may spend the next 20 years in the United States federal prison if found guilty of all charges.
