A former Nigerian senator, Dino Melaye, has dismissed the suggestion that he is embarrassed by the photo he took with the arrested fraudster, Ramon Olorunwa Abass popularly known as Hushpuppi.
The politician in a Facebook post in his verified Facebook page said that he has no reason to beg the public not to share the picture he took with international fraudster Hushpuppi who is currently facing trial in a US court for alleged fraud.
Reacting on his Facebook page, Dino Melaye wrote:
“There was never a time l ask people not to post my pictures with Hushpuppi or anyone for that matter because there is no reason to. Am a political celebrity, please continue posting jare. Wetin bird chop na im e go carry fly. SDM”
This is coming days after some online media published that Dino Melaye has called on the public to stop sharing his picture with Hushpuppi, a claim the former Kogi west lawmaker described as untrue.
