The abducted traditional ruler of Orodo autonomous community in Mbaitoli LGA, Imo state, Eze Samuel Ohiri who has regained his freedom from abductors has given gratitude to God for spearing his life.
The monarch who was kidnapped on January 6, 2024 by unknown persons at his Residence in Odumara Orodo in Mbaitoli LGA Owerri, Imo, narrated his ordeal in the hands of his abductors.
Eze samuel Ohiri during a visit by some journalists to his palace at orodo in Mbaitoli local government, expressed gratitude to God Almighty for his freedom.
The monarch narrated his ordeal on how the kidnappers double crossed his vehicle while returning from his brother’s house and took him away.
Eze Ohiri while calling on the perpetrators to refrain from the act, called on the government to improve the security situation in country.
The traditional ruler was abducted by gunmen in his palace about two weeks ago, when the State was basking in the euphoria of celebrating a crime-free Christmas and New Year festivities.
