The Imo state Governor Hope Uzodimma has flagged off the Reconstruction of the 37 kilometers Owerri- Orlu and 55 kilometers Owerri- okigwe federal roads.
The Governor during the flag-off exercise said the project which will cost the state govt about 55 billion naira is a signature project of his administration to improve living standard of Imo people.

Governor Hope Uzodimma disclosed this at Banana Junction, Amaifeke Orlu and Akabo in Ikeduru while flagging off reconstruction work on the roads.
Governor Uzodimma, also explained that government has paid fifteen percent of the contract sum to ensure full commencement of the work.
The projects, according to the governor will be delivered in 18 months.
Some government officials commended Governor Uzodimma for his decision to give the two roads a face-lift.
It is expected that on completion, business activities as well as intra and interstate movements would be enhanced.
