Nigerians have been advised to constantly subject themselves to periodic medical checks and treatments to avoid complications.
The call is coming from medical experts at a one day Seminar on prevention of heart attack and sudden deaths held in Owerri, Imo state capital.
Heart attack has been described as a silent killer by medical experts.
Chest pain is the common symptom.

In order to stem the disaster associated with the disease, women in their numbers took to the streets of owerri to sensitize residents on how best to prevent heart attack.
Medical practitioners also took time to examine, then educate some people on what could possibly lead to heart attack.
They also spoke on the need to prevent heart attack and live a healthy life
It is expected that after the one day seminar people would be well informed on how to live healthy lifestyles to avert heart attack and related diseases.
