Imo State Government is to rehabilitate 25 roads across the state in keeping with the promise of the state Governor, Hope Uzodinma.
Briefing journalists after the state executive council meeting, Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Declan Emelumba explained that work on the affected roads would go on simultaneously in the interest of the people.
Government will also undertake the construction of a 5-kilometre road in each of the 27 local government areas of the state.

Emelumba announced that approval has been secured for immediate disbursement of One billion naira for the renovation of primary health centers in the 305 wards of the state.
For Primary Schools, a committee is to be set up in due course for their rehabilitation.
