The Executive secretary Universal basic education commission Hamid Bobboyi on Friday in Lagos highlighted the importance of Education as the bedrock of development in any society.

The Executive Secretary who gave the highlight at the opening of a two day retreat for the Senate committee on education put together by the commission said, providing qualitative education for citizens cannot be over emphasized.
