Some Lagos residents Friday stormed the Akowonjo office of Ikeja Electric Distribution company in protest over inability to recharge their electricity meters for days.
The aggrieved customers said the situation was quite disturbing and has crippled commercial activities despite the fact that they have upgraded their meters as requested by the Distribution Company.
They are demanding an explanation from the Ikeja Distribution company over what they described as agonizing moment which has caused them mental and psychological stress.

As at the time of filing this report, no official Statement has been issued by the Distribution Company even as the customers complained that their customer care lines have not been going through.
