The legally embattled opposition African Democratic Congress, ADC and Labour Party, LP, have acknowledged receiving Access Codes from the independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, to upload their candidates’ names for the 2027 general elections.
National Publicity Secretary of ADC, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi confirmed to AIT that the Party had received the Access Codes from INEC for the various political offices.
Similarly, the Labour Party’s National Publicity Secretary, Ken Asogwa said that he was told by the National Chairman, Nenadi Usman that the pyarty had also received the Access Codes from INEC.
The parties said they will soon commence the issuance of the Access Codes to their candidates for the 2027 general elections.
