The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has declared the November 6, 2021 election as ‘Inconclusive’.

The returning officer of Anambra State Governorship election, Professor Florence Obi says INEC has been forced to declare the election Inconclusive because the exercise did not hold in Ihiala Local Government Area due to reports of Insecurity.

Also citing the Nigerian Constitution, Prof. Obi said the exercise must hold in those areas before an acceptable conclusive result can be tendered.
