The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, says it will spare no effort in deepening the use of technology to ensure electoral transparency and credibility.
Chairman of INEC, Professor Mahmood Yakubu made this known during a meeting with resident electoral commissioners in Abuja on Tuesday.

Professor Yakubu said the commission has configured enough machines and began deployment nationwide for further training of officials in readiness for the commencement of the physical voter’ registration exercise.
Yakubu further disclosed that INEC has agreed with stakeholders, including the security agencies, to start from state and local government offices, with an initial 811 locations nationwide from the 37 states, the FCT offices and 774 local government areas.
