The General Officer Commanding, GOC Three Division, Major General I. Ali, has revealed that bandits operating around the three states of Plateau, Taraba and Bauchi are being traced for decisive action, to sustain the existing peace in the three states.
The GOC disclosed this when he paid a visit to Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed.
The General Officer Commanding Three Division, Jos, Plateau State, Major-General Ibrahim Ali, said the visit is aimed at familiarizing himself with the governor, appreciate his support to the Nigerian Army in the discharge of its obligation, and also intimate the governor on the security situation in the state and beyond.
He said recently, the army traced some banditry activities around the three states of Plateau, Taraba and Bauchi.
He solicited more government support, to enable security agencies address the menace.
Receiving the team, Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed, commended the Nigerian Army and other sister agencies, for ensuring the security of lives and property of the citizens, promising to continue providing all the necessary support, needed for a successful operation.
