In a bid to curtail the escalating security challenges across Nigeria, the Delta State Police Command has arrested and paraded 30 suspects over various crimes bordering on armed robbery, cultism, illegal possession of firearms, and live ammunition.
The firearms, live ammunition, and vehicles that were recovered from the suspects, among whom were those who specialised in robbing Point of Sale, POS agents, and others in illegal possession of the Nigerian military uniform.
The State Commissioner of Police, Ari Mohammed, while parading the suspects said one of the alleged criminals was apprehended in a vehicle camouflaged with Spy-Police number plate to enable free pass at checkpoints and possible trailing of unsuspecting victims.

The Police Commissioner while soliciting the continuous collaboration of communities towards fighting crimes, urged law abiding residents to go about their lawful duty without fear of insecurity.
Earlier some of the suspects who spoke to ait.live denied complicity in the crimes.
In the meantime, the Police said the suspects will be charged to court .
